On the bright side, I feel as though a 6.70-80 jump is like riiiight there! Call me crazy, but I feel it. Another good thing is that I was super sore after the meet, this can only mean one thing; those long-lost jumping muscles are finally waking up and getting with the program. The best jumping practice is to actually JUMP! So progress should come rather quickly now that I'm competing again. Can't fricken wait! UGH!! When the jump does come, it's gonna be nasty! ;)
Something else nasty happened to me over the weekend. I was sitting next to a nice old lady from Burbank on the plane, who gave me some "really good 'cookies'". I am warning you, if someone ever offers you these "cookies"...
